Education Campaign: Mental Health Resources

Not only has the COVID-19 impacted us physically but also mentally. With minimal human contact and being forced to stay in our homes, about 45% of adults in the United States reported that the pandemic has negatively impacted their mental health. It is okay not to be okay. Here is a list of free online resources and activities, which can provide relief, recovery, and peer support, to address anxiety and depression.



Anxiety:

Headspace is now holding a two week free trial to begin your journey with meditation and mindfulness. This is a fun and interacting app that includes new meditations everyday, themed courses, and sleep sounds to help you fall asleep.

App with coping and communication skills specific to COVID-19

Online therapist-led groups & workshops for anxiety, stress, and connection




Depression:

Sleep:

Digital therapeutic for sleep, fully automated yet highly personalized digital sleep improvement program accessible via app and web

Digital cognitive behavioral therapy for sleep

Peer Support:

Peer chat support and resource list

Resource for students to socially connect and reduce loneliness during COVID-19

Recovery:

Online recovery support meetings for women and gender nonconforming individuals who are sober or interested in sobriety
